Will You Be My Bridesmaid?

You’ve set the date, now to decide who to include in your Bridal party and for the Bride, that means – Bridesmaids!  Think wisely who you choose for these roles – they need to be supportive to you and help with some of the planning of the wedding and of course your hen night!  There is a great article over on Jewell’s blog with some handy tips on how to make the right choice.

So now you have chosen ‘who’ here are some fun ways for the ‘how’!

Bridesmaid Gift Box

Left: Etsy | Right: Etsy

Nothing makes me happier than a well thought out gift box.  Perhaps include a mini bottle of fizz, a piece of jewellery for them to wear on the day and some nail varnish to complement your wedding colours.  You can put your own box together from scratch, download a customised printable like this one on Etsy or you can find them ready-made on sites such as Not On The High Street.

Bottle of Prosecco

Left: Hitched | Right: Personalized Brides

There are companies that will print personalised labels for wine bottles, so you can ask them and then sit and enjoy a bottle of fizz while you get excited about your wedding plans!

Balloon Surprise

Have a balloon delivered to your Bridesmaid with instructions to burst it – when she does, it will be filled with confetti and a message!

Beautiful Cards or Pretty Puzzles

Bridesmaid Cards
eFow Creations

Look around for the style that suits you, whether it is romantic or sweary, there are cards to suit all Bridesmaid personalities and a puzzle to put together makes the message even more fun!

This is also a cute idea if you are asking younger Flower Girls.

Cup of Tea!

Left: BHLDN | Right: The Letter Loft

Invite your maid around for tea and serve her cuppa in a personalised mug and see how long it takes her to notice!  Or even better have the message printed in the mug so she doesn’t see it until she gets to the bottom!

Bespoke Jewellery

Maria Allen Boutique

I love this necklace from Maria Allen – a pretty gold envelope with a wooden insert which can be personalised.

Message in a Bottle

Crafts Indeed

Choose a pretty bottle or trinket box for your message – this can be kept as a keepsake long after the wedding day.

Chocolate!

What Candy Says

Well, obviously!  Thornton’s are just one of the companies that you can get personalised chocolate gifts, including their Alphabet Truffles to spell out your message.

There are so many ideas out there, but these were some of our favourites – check out our Pinterest board for lots more!
