The Best of… Free Wedding Printables
If you are planning your wedding, there is no doubt that somewhere along the line you are trying to save money so that the wedding of your dreams is achievable. Whether you decide to make items yourself, enlist the help of friends or enter zillions of competitions and freebie giveaways, there are always ways to save pennies.
It may seem like the best way to save money is to do as much yourself as possible and the advice I always give to Brides is: don’t overstretch yourself. If you have never baked a cake, then your wedding cake is probably not the best place to start. Likewise growing your own wedding flowers may seem like a good idea when flicking through copies of Gardener’s World, but in the real world it’s a lot trickier than it looks! Also, consider how much time things are going to take – even I started to regret making my own invitations when our guest list grew!
So without getting into complicated tutorials involving mod podge and mason jars, I have scoured the internet to find the best free printables for you to personalise your wedding with – all you will need is paper, a printer, and the ability to spell!
I love this bunting from Miss Design Berry and it is so versatile. Download the folder of images and print out as many of each letter as you require. Create banners for your Hen Party, Ceremony and Reception. The pretty floral theme is perfect for Spring and Summer weddings.
Love Letters for the Newly Weds
If you have some blank wall space at your reception, why not try this alternative to a guest book? Pin some lengths of string to the wall, and provide some pegs and pens and guests can write their messages to you on these pretty vintage style hankies from Eat Drink Chic. You could also peg some photos of you as a couple up there as well so it is a point of interest from the start.
Design Your Own Monogram
I can’t think of anything fancier than having your own personal monogram and there are loads of designs to choose from on the Wedding Chicks site. You can customise the text and colours and they also tell you what fonts have been used if you wanted to create other items to compliment.
Watercolour designs are so on trend right now, whether you have a pretty floral design or just a smudge of colour and the gals at Wedding Chicks (again!) have designed a whole invitation suite around this. You can download Save the Dates, Invitations, RSVP cards… pretty much everything you need to create a beautiful watercolour theme for your stationery, all with customisable text and colour. I think these would look gorgeous on textured paper and the rainbow is definitely my favourite!
Pretty Floral Program Fan
I wish I had seen this idea for our wedding… even in October our Church was sweltering hot! What a great idea from Sweet Violet Bride to combine the Order of Service with a handy fan! The range of colours in the floral design means it can compliment a wide range of themes and then add ribbon of your choice on the handle. The text is easy to customise in a Word document.
Children’s Colouring Book
A cute way to keep children entertained during your ceremony or reception from Lovely Indeed. Parents will love you for it too!
Capture the Love
Ask your guests to upload any photos they take during the day on to social media pages using your own personal hashtag, then you can sit and enjoy your wedding from their perspective. Download our free printable here, fill in your hashtag and display on each table at the reception.
There are hundreds more free wedding printables all over the internet, these are just our favourites. Head over to our Pinterest page to find more!
