A World of Weddings – Bonfire Night Special

Autumn is such a wonderful season – full of spectacular photo opportunities, with the changing colour of the trees, early sunsets and dark skies just waiting to be lit up with a fantastic firework display!

For all the ins and outs of what you need to know about having fireworks at your wedding, we have put together a useful article, but I thought I would also have a look a bit further afield for a few more ideas for a Bonfire Night wedding….

Keep your guests warm!  As well as handing out flip flops for tired feet, how about cosy blankets so they can pop outside and watch your firework display without catching a chill!

Get Creative!  Ask your photographer what special effects can be created using the fireworks or sparklers.

Involve your guests:  The confetti shot is a great group photo opportunity, but how about a sparkler exit?

Respect the environment:  There have been warnings issued recently about using Chinese Lanterns at weddings as they can set fire to land and buildings and the wire frame that is left over can be hazardous to wildlife.

Seasonal nibbles:  From marshmallows toasted on a bonfire, to toffee apples – theming your desserts or favours will definitely be a winner with your guests!
