We have already met Ben from Blue Olive Productions (BOP) as he was the dashing Groom who whisked the lovely Becky off her feet back in October 2011 (see Becky & Ben’s wedding here!)
Ben is the MD and Creative Director of BOP who specialise in contemporary, captivating and creative videography for all sorts of events, including weddings! Let’s meet him again and find out a bit more about BOP….
What is the best thing about your job?
Capturing a couple’s special day so they can relive it for years to come and inspiring love, peace and solidarity in relationships through our wedding DVDs.
Do you have a favourite location on the Isle of Man?
Wherever! It’s always fun to shoot a wedding video in a new location. Niarbyl is stunning though.
Have any weddings stood out for you? If so, what made them special?
Sam and Sarah Rotchell’s wedding on Saturday 28th August 2010… good friends and great locations with the service at Peel Cathedral and the reception at Niarbyl. Filming the photo shoot at Niarbyl was very special, including the Bride and Groom jumping in a bouncy castle!
What is the best piece of advice you could give a couple when choosing a videographer for their wedding?
Have a look at a sample DVD to check the quality. Make sure they are going to be as discreet as possible on the day; the best compliment I ever get is when a couple say they barely saw me!
